Hi everyone! So a few weeks ago i went to Watsons and I got this BB cream by Garnier. I had heard really good things about it and when I stepped into Watsons and saw that it was on sale, I bought it pretty much immediately :P I wouldn't really say that it was an impulse buy, because I had actually done my research on the product prior to buying it, PLUS IT WAS ON SALE so I just couldn't help myself :P Okay, enough rambling, let's get into the review!
So firstly, the BB cream I got was the Garnier Instant Fairness BB Moisturizer in Light. THAT'S A REALLY LONG NAME LOL. Anyway, this product claims to do 10 things:
1. Makes your skin look more radiant
2. Makes your skin more even-toned
3. You will have less dark spots
4. Less visible imperfections
5. Reduces redness
6. Smoother
7. More hydrated
8. Makes your skin look like it has less visible lines
9. Less visible pores
10. Reveals its healthy glow
Ok, so that's A LOT of things one product claims to do. To be honest, I couldn't care less about half the things it claims to do, but that's because i pretty much have acne-free skin so I don't have any redness, or dark spots, or things like that. However, I must say that it does make me look more radiant, my face feels nice and smooth, which is a good thing as some BB creams with high SPF levels tend to be sticky, which I don't really like.
This BB cream has SPF 26 in it, it's anti-UVB, PA +++ and it's anti-UVA. I love that it has all this as I don't actually use a moisturiser in my skin care routine, (I am on the hunt for one though so if you have any good recommendations, do tell me in the comments below or something! :{D ) so I use this as a replacement I guess.
I got this BB cream in the shade Light and i'm pretty tanned I guess, though you can refer to my other posts where I had my OOTD and such if you are unsure of what shade to get :)
HOW I USE IT:
I basically only use about half a pea size amount, or even less, personally because I'm not using it for coverage purposes, plus I have combination skin and I find that because it's sooo hot here in Singapore, when I used a pea size amount, I HAD to set it with a face powder because you could just feel the makeup melting off your face which is gross, so if you have combination to oily skin and want more coverage/use more than a pea size amount, I definitely recommend setting it with a powder. But if you're like me and you just want to make your skin look a little more radiant and awake, or if you want that moisture, then use about half a pea size and you should be fine without having to set it :)
Overall, I would give this product a 7.5/10 and I definitely recommend you guys to check it out! :{D
Okie, that's all for today, I'll see you guys next time I guess. LOVE YOU ALL AND GOODBYEEE xxx
